I am doing a project in English where we need to find a modern song (with lyrics) that deals with William Blake’s poetry book “Songs of innocence/experience”. We need to have the themes of ‘innocence’ and ‘experience’ – sort of like before and after, or the good and bad side of something in the song’s lyrics. I have looked all over, but can’t find anything!!! Thanks, it’s much appriciated.

hmmm.. maybe lullabies by all time low. very modern.
its about a guy whos brother kills himself. he hates his brother for killing himself, but still loves him, and wished he didnt kill himself.
when i listen, i think it could also be about parents splitting up.
anyways, the boy has to grow up quickly and learns a lot. so he loses his innocnece kinda thing.
so like before, he looks up to his brother. everything is happy, innocent. and after, there are a lot of emotions, family is torn up. he has to grow up fast and act like an adult. he gets a ;pt of experience from that.
